Audiology Programme at School of Health Sciences offers fundamental and clinical research in the field of Audiology. Both Master of Science (Health Sciences) and Doctor of Philosophy (Audiology) candidates have the opportunity to pursue research in a wide range of Audiology subspecialties including basic audiology, advanced audiology, product development, otology / neuro-otology, balance / vestibular, tinnitus, audiological rehabilitation and hearing amplification technologies (including auditory implants). The research projects are supervised by trained experts with vast experiences in the dedicated subspecialties. Those with background of audiology, hearing science, otorhinolaryngology, medicine, neuroscience or biomedical engineering are welcome to join the research programme.

Specifically, the research at Audiology Programme is aimed at

1) Producing high quality of fundamental and clinical studies

2) Improving the quality of life of targeted patients through innovation and commercialization

3) Producing graduates with advanced skills and knowledge to enhance the clinical practice standards

* Foreign Student has to produce English proficiency result as follows:

  • TOEFL paper based (minimum score 550) or
  • TOEFL computer based (minimum score 213) or
