Introduction

The School of Health Sciences has a very active research programme which is focused on the concept of health and wellness. The research programmes are diversified as provided by our research groups in variety research area. Our research groups aim to have an impact and relevance not only to the region and the nation but also to the international community. They are also committed and have a reputation for excellence, strong and vibrant research culture.

The School of Health Sciences is aware that graduate students are important contributors to our research sustainability thus we provide a supportive environment for all graduate students to achieve excellent research outcomes. Continuity of research programmes depends on the recruitments of new researchers and strong research culture. Researchers in our school are given every opportunity to expend their research activities and to have a research-based graduate student programme in each of the particular research area.

There are many opportunities for graduate studies at the School of Health Sciences. We welcome graduate students to expand their research capabilities in a wide area of health sciences with an emphasis on the concept of wellness. The graduate studies programmes offered by the school are Biomedicine, Forensics Sciences, Nutrition, Medical Radiation, Nursing, Inter-Disciplinary Health, Health Informatics and Environmental & Occupational Health. All programmes are by research mode.
